this manga has become an unpleasant experience since volume 6. i'm not sure if they intended to create an honest and true japanese workplace experience and their treatment of women? like, to show the horrors and the awful misogyny of the japanese man pertaining to the culture of the time—but it's very disgusting. their treatment of aoki is just downright terrible.
