“Look what those fuckers did to my tattoo, Jabbar, buddy.” I feel like this one is forgetting it’s own gimmick occasionally but stuff like this (and the sudden shocks of genuine terror and gore) make it really hard to write it off completely.

This is proving out slightly tinny in regards to its characters of color and it’s depicting of their voices but I’m still having fun with it. I’m into Part III now so I’m guessing some really gnarly stuff is coming.

I picked this up randomly on my Libby. I’m only like an hour into it but pretty fun so far! It’s nice to see someone actually injecting menace and verisimilitude into the “World War Z But…” template instead of just fully aping the format with nothing behind it.
