is 40% done
Several months in (lots of looooong breaks) and only 40% in. Am I supposed to feel this stupid? It's a slightly tortuous read. The only thing that made me pick it up a few days ago is learning that in about 80 pages, there will be a review of part one and part two will begin. Will I get there? I have no idea.

I look forward to hearing how you like this novel. I found it a slough to get through at times but interesting nonetheless.

It often feels like it will never end. I am also finding it difficult to keep all the characters straight. At the same time, I go through spurts where reading it is very exciting, and like a never ending roller coaster. I hope I can speed up my progress and have it done by the end of the month!
Totally! The first chapter in particular is like that. When I saw your 30% status, I thought: "hold on! You have a lot to go."I wouldn't say it speeds up, but it does get less sloughy with more action.
