"I am about 20% through it. I was shocked by how racist some of the earliest pages are -- I have never really paid attention to that fact in HP books, but it was right there screaming at me. D'oh! Not crazy about this one yet. But then, I am never crazy about those stories where Poirot doesn't turn up until late in the novel. It's why I don't read Marple or Tuppence or whomever.
