I’m really trying to like this book, but I’m halfway and I just don’t care about any of the characters. The motivations that characters have just don’t feel realistic. And it feels so YA, which normally I like, but it’s so painfully YA. Idk I’m gonna try and stick it out

I’m DNFing here. Idk if it’s bc I’m coming off of reading Priory Of The Orange Tree or what, but everything in this book is just so superficial and again I don’t care about the characters at all. Maybe I’ll give it another chance at a later point, but it’s become a chore to read it.
