In today's reading we finally figure out who was trying to kill Avery and to me it was very surprising.

In what read today two characters get into a fight and I didn't want them to because they are really good friends and it makes me sad to see what they fight over.

In what I read today there is some romantic chemistry between 2 characters that I was not expecting but I think its a little toxic. There is also more character development with Orin the body guard.

In what I read today Avery and Jameson go into the woods looking for clues and are met with a big surprise. This surprise made me curious about who the cause of it is and added to the suspense of the book.

In what I read today the main character Avery gets angry when her sisters abusive ex boyfriend shows up to where they live and it surprises me when she gets angry but also does something about it because in most things I read people are to timid to stand up for themselves and the people they care about.

In this part we meet Jamesons, Nashs, Xanders and Graysons mother Skye and so far I am not very fond of her because to me she seems like the classic snobby rich person and she shows this when Avery first meets her and she in a very big bathtub drinking expensive champagne while naked and still she has a conversation with Avery. Skye is also passive aggressive toward Avery even though she has done nothing wrong.

In what I read today it made me kind of mad at Nash because he always seems to threaten and belittle Avery because she got most of the inheritance but he is the one who has been rich his whole live and Avery has been very poor and having to live in her car at times so I think he should be gracious to her and know that this is the first time she has ever had a lot of money.

Avery is now getting to know her new school and the first person to talk to her is Thea and right off the bat I think she is one of those mean popular girls and even though she is being nice to her now she will probably stab Avery in the back latter.

In the part that I read today Avery gets visited by Jameson and he comes from a secret passage way and says that there are many and it made me wonder why there are so many and that there is something weird about Tobias Hawthorne. Avery also goes to a new school and i am interested to see how that goes.
