This is me giving this book a compliment: this breakdown is very, very good. At long last Wyatt is honest with himself and allows himself to feel things. It would have been great to have that happen earlier, but it's good nonetheless. I can survive the last 67 pages now.

Bro's (Emyr) horns "darken and twist"? Due to arousal?? I feel like I've sleepwalked into a waiting room and woke up not knowing what I'm waiting on, this is so confusing and I want out.

What sort of editor doesn't catch up on "avante-garde" ? I was patting myself on the back for not commenting about an umpteenth shitposty, Tumblr-like description but """avantE-garde""" had to happen on the same page.

I'm sorry for commenting every page of this book but Wyatt is very creative and finds a way to be a nuisance ON EVERY SINGLE PAGE!!! His sin today? Shit talking the lesbians. Not on my watch.

So the page before has Wyatt thinking the entire world is against him when people try to help him, which is par for the course and grates on my nerves. Then the very next page he's being quirky talking about how amazing chicken nuggets are. Is this 2015 Tumblr? Mum come pick me up before I throw things.

Stopping there for the night, it's more political but it could be interesting. Less shut-off emotions – but it became very obvious to me suddenly that there is a 'tell, never show' problem with the narration.

No I promise, just turned the page and here is another "I don't have time to unpack this thing I half-said right now." This book is /full/ of things being vaguely hinted at but not touched at further than that. There is no depth whatsoever. Mum come pick me up I hate it here.
