right know Chance is rethinking this decision on bring these bags back and fort. He's hiding extra bags in this secret place on his boats. It's so strange that he's taking care of these bags when he doesn't know what's in them. He stood up to his ''boss'' and asked for more money or else he wouldn't do it. The boss told him that he has to stay out of it. That was a sign that whatever is in these bags aren't good.

Chance has finally figured out what is inside the backpacks he's been carrying. Jewels. He wasn't smuggling drugs or bombs like what he thought. It was jewels. Chance was relieved over that but then the man that he was working for and paying him committed suicide. He drove his car off a cliff. He must have been terrified of what his boss was going to do to him because Chance quit.

The point of the book where I'm at is starting to get a little fascinating but before then it really had no interest in it. It's just so depressing and sad it makes me feel so bad for Chance. I have a feeling that things are going to turn around for these his dad and him. I hope.
