"I think this book is slowly dissolving my brain. I am pretty sure I can feel brain matter dribbling out of my ear under the assault of Hawthorne's pen. I thought it took Stephen King a long time to get to the point, boy was I wrong. King is startlingly direct compared to this drivel. This isn't good literature this is slow motion assault on the brain of the reader. Somebody save me
