Isabel cares for Curzon, and worries about him being safe in the prison with Dibdin, the man who steals what Isabel gives him. When Madam finds out about her daily visits to the prision, she prohibits her to see him anymore. "'I forbid you to go to the prision(245.)'" says madam sternly to Isabel. This shows that madam will never stop making Isabel miserable .
