I'm really enjoying the story, but have one serious bone to pick....Reference is made to Belle being on anti-depressants and zoning out. FACT: Anti-depressants don't make one zone out. (Nor or they happy pills.) They don't change one's personality; they simply allow someone with clinical depression to deal with it and not feel overwhelmed by it. I speak from personal experience. But anyhoo..good story.
