I’m barely surviving this book, so boring

I have come to a horrible discovery that this is a YA book, and boy can I tell. The juvenile mindset , thought process, and dialogue is too much for me. If I read the word “chill” one more time… he’s so chill, she’s so chill, the room is so chill. Ugh rookie mistake on my part.

I keep genre hopping due to reviews and trying to broaden my reading, but while the concept is interesting my attention isn’t there. I hope it draws me in more.
