actually getting slightly bored/annoyed of the crazy analogies bill bryson kept making to show how insignificant we are in this world

he's doing this pretty often. i guess it helps put things to scale and gives me a better idea rather than just nodding at big numbers

fun and relaxing read, i like it so far. i have trouble remembering people's names, but SCIENCE.
