Marta showed that she was determined to start a new life no matter what it took. I think in the future Marta will start a rebellion against the government. Also, I think Kurt if he somehow finds a way to get over the border will also join her rebellion and then the government will hopefully take down the wall

Marta finally did what she wanted from the very beginning. In East Berlin, Marta faced many problems like being put in her place and told she should give up. After all of that, she faced her fears and went through with the plan. Now I think she will continue with her life in this new place along with here family.

Marta has a tough decision to make. There is no way to get out of it. I think she will choose the right option but really there is no right or wrong because either way someone she knows will end up loosing there life.

Martha is going through a lot right now. If Martha can't get past what she's going through she could do something crazy. If she doesn't get past her struggles, she might try to cross the border with or without help. Also, she might end up failing to cross the border and if she does she could get killed or arrested.

Kurt got a crazy opportunity presented to him. Now, will he take it or not? I think he probably will but there's a chance he gets convinced otherwise by his friend. Speaking of his friend there seems to be a stronger connection than friendship between the pair. This connection may develop throughout the story and become a reality or if Kurt does take the opportunity he may not be able to take the friendship farther.

Kurt had a terrible realization about his brother Franz. I think Kurt feels betrayed and angry. In the future, Kurt might try to run away and try to escape East Berlin or he might rebel against his brother until he confesses the whole truth to him.

Imagination, the thing that lets us do impossible things and be free in our own minds to roam around our own imaginary world. Kurt is very familiar with using his imagination. I think Kurt tries to escape the world he lives in so he can escape the violence and suffering all around him. But sadly his imaginary world isn't a reality.

Trust, the thing no one can fully have. Marta can't trust anyone but that is the same for everyone else you can never truly trust someone. In this world, you can't do anything without someone listening in and documenting your every move. Hopefully, Marta can find out a way to trust someone because that will be really helpful in the future if she ever plans on escaping

Marta found out about her cousin's idiotic plan. I think Marta will try to stop him from going through with the plan. If she can't he may end up going through with the end and could end up dead.

Marta wants to find a way to get into West Berlin. Sadly it's almost impossible. West Berlin and East Berlin are split into 2 by a guarded barrier. In the future, Martha might find a way to escape and enter the west, If not she will probably die trying. If she did make it somehow then she would try to help others across.
