the book long way down is a boy he is being fought the 3 rules those rules at don’t cry, don’t snitch and get revenge i think the messiah it to learn them.

My author, Jason uses Description as a text structure mainly, this book being fiction it makes scenes why. he is relying on description because this happened and he is telling us the real events that occurred.

I noticed that Jason uses the description text structure a lot. for example when talking about the thing he does with his brother he says that the noise he makes is like " a burp mixed with a yawn mixed with a hum"( Jason 289). because he explains the noise he is making it helps me notice the it is the description.

I learned in my research that this is based on the murder of his brother and how he is going to get revenge on the killer he laid down and thought about the rules "no crying, no snitching, always get revenge" (183 Reynolds).
