I started this awhile back, read the 1st story, really really liked it, and then the read, or started, the 2nd story, and liked it not quite as much, so I quit reading. And now I've started again, and I do like it. I do I do I do, as mother would say. But Ms. Watkins has written an essay called "On Pandering." She says she wrote Battleborn under the influence of old white males, i.e., me. I'm trapped in a box canyon.
