I only was able to read a couple of pages this hour. I had a hard time focusing on what I was reading. Regardless, the story is really starting to get interesting. Marjane Satrapi is telling about her own life, and as it turns out, her Grandfather used to be emperor in Iran! I wonder how this played out for her during the 1980s. I have a feeling she will be facing some danger due to her family connections.

This is such an interesting book! I haven't read a graphic novel for awhile, and I don't know much about the Iranian Revolution of 1980. It's very interesting to get the perspective of a young girl in Iran. I can only assume that she is going to face many hardships in a country that is not known for it's civil rights, or suffrage. 20 pages only took a few minutes. I think I will fly through this book.
