I'm going to assume there's a good reason for an Irish Witch to be speaking Latin instead of Gaelic.

Now we're into the How I Met Your Father phase of the book- 3/4 of the way in.

Now Brigit's only a Half- Quinn- meaning she gets certain powers and things from her mother's side. Doesn't that hold true for... EVERYBODY?

Oh look!- At her first Ceremony our MarySue opened a Portal to another dimension without even trying.

This book feels like an ABC After School Special about Witchcraft.

Is anything remotely interesting going to happen anytime soon? Something? So far all the bad, ebil stuff's been washed away with little to no consequence and we're back to the mundane details of everyday life. *yawn*

You know it's bad when you can predict almost exactly what's going to happen next.

3/5 in and the author finally figures out how to fast-forward to something that MIGHT be relevant and interesting.

Really having trouble mustering up any interest in this thing.
