Accessible writing, if a bit repetitive. Phrases are often reused and Sengar's moustache might as well be its own character for the pagetime it gets, heh.

Alternative history is one of my favourite things, and so far this book is using it quite nicely.

Pretty decently written so far. The setting is kind of interesting, despite my qualms about it being too easy to just switch the roles of India and England.
