i’m only through the first two chapters or so, but so far it’s really good. the descriptions of everything are really detailed, and with the main character living in isolation with her father on a swampy, secluded island, it gives “where the crawdads sing.” but the way it describes their relationship is so tender. the vibes are great. the main character’s name is emmeline which is fun. love it so far.
