End of Book Five: The Gadrobi Hills. I love each new revelation and nugget of lore, especially when they come in waves. I’m like a man wandering thirsty in a desert, savoring the tiniest of drops, wanting more.

Finished Book Three: The Mission. Now I’m halfway through the book and I am beyond excited to read the second half. Last 6 chapters feel like one massive setup for a thrilling conclusion. Can’t wait!

Reading this series is probably the second best reading decision I’ve ever made after reading The Way of Kings in 2020. I love that I have roughly 26 books/novellas to read in this world.

Yeah, I feel like I’m locked in for sure. I don’t find it a difficult read, but it IS dense and I think I benefit from my slower reading pace. Are the endings in Malazan books similar to the Sanderlanches that we all love? Hoping Erikson ends this strong but don’t know what to expect.
