There has been an underlying sense as I read that something is off. Little comments made by characters that seem to be topical but not really important. Like the author just puts them in to make the book relevant but does it without actually knowing the subject matter, just knowing the headline or some buzz words… and now it’s feeling a so over the top that it’s almost comical. Gonna keep reading but yikes…
