If I could interview anyone, it would be one of his friends from the shop. First I would ask them why they always make fun of and tease and laugh at him. They might in return say that they do it because it's fun to see him do stupid things and it's amusing to them to see him make a fool of himself. I would also ask them how they felt about themselves now that he was smarter and knew what they were doing to him. I'm

I think that Charlie's identity is just how it shows to be to the doctors, but not his fellow colleuges. His "friends" think that he is some stupid person that doesn't understand anything when the doctors see the real him. The doctors see how he's improving and getting smarter throughout the time he's getting tested. I think he starts to think of himself as smart and ignoring what other people think of him.

I think the author intended this book for anyone honestly. I think anyone can enjoy this book and it is kind of inspiring to people. Although it could be meant for anyone, I think that it would really speak to people with mental disabilities, like Charlie, and their family members or people in their life. It speaks to them because it inspires them and shows them how someone like them can be happy in their life.

In this book, Charlie is getting smarter every day. This makes me happy to see that someone like him can have this advantage. He is not getting teased as much by his "friends" anymore but is figuring out that all the times he thought they were trying to be nice to him and help him, they were making fun of him just so everyone could have a good laugh. I feel bad that he knows it now, cause ignorance was bliss for him.

What draws me into "Flowers for Algernon" is, I like reading about how the process in The book is. I also have a special needs cousin so I like reading about how another special needs kid gets through it and wants so bad to learn. What keeps me in the book is I want to know if in the end he is successfully smart and does not get made fun of anymore. I feel very bad for him and I want to know how it turns out for him.
