Ok, it's actually pretty cool to see that there were, in fact, English people horrified at the atrocities being committed in India in the 1700s. Even if they were awful in many other regards, it's a nice reminder that for most horrible things, there were people screaming that it was wrong IN THAT TIME

I don't care if it's a valid scrabble word, it sounds made up and saying so many things with the negative suffix on the positive adjective or adverb is just headache inducing

I actually quite like most of this book but little choices and word inventions all over the place drive me absolutely nuts. Author seems to think putting "un-" in front of everything gets the point across better when in fact it does the opposite.

The author is wasting my time trying to out-woke whoever she's quoting, saying an implication she has simply imagined in the quote is problematic.
Listing things in the same sentence with "or" is not equivocating them. This was such a stupid, stupid thing to try and nitpick
