I've read this first book once before and enjoyed it but didn't enjoy it enough to go to the expense of buying the rest of the series until I found all of the ebooks for less than $20. I have to admit that seeing it was 4750 pages is a bit daunting but I've read 21 books this month so it shouldn't be too bad
