Neil deGrasse Tyson does an excellent job bringing to light the binary nature of the brain. In the universe, everything is on a continuum. But as humans, we tend to simplify it down into categories. He uses examples which makes your brain work to see the world from a perspective that is uncomfortable and unnatural to the mind. But while uncomfortable, it is enlightening to see the world from a cosmic point of view.
