Hanging Curve - I bought this just for this story.
Let me explain:
I wrote a short story recently. I was pretty proud of it, specifically for its (I assumed) originality: An inexplicable psychics-busting event happens at a baseball game. Society reacts.
Turns out, Gardner Dozois wrote that in 2002~.
A huge blow, but I feel a sort of kinship with Dozois now. Were he alive, I'd write to him.
