I don't mind Rasika's parents and i find the Indian caste system very interesting although utterly outfashioned and useless.
I'm sooooo over Rasika and her constant ping-ponging between wanting to be a good Indian girl and a liberal American women. Abhay sucks as well.

I'm not enjoying this book at all. Both MC are unlikable and incredibly judgemental. They constantly contradict themselves and romanticise every single romantic concept: from freedom to true love to every single thing there is. I find the Rasika quite pretencious, and Abhay wants to be viewed as a super liberal man, but it caught up in misogynistic thought-patterns and cowardice. Might have to DNF
