As anticipated, most of the information in Book 2 (The Jewish Year) was familiar to me. I did learn about some fasting days I wasn't aware of. Of course I didn't know everything about every holiday covered, but I knew enough to "get by." Looking forward to this final portion of the book.

Just finished Book 1 - the Jewish Life. Other than specific vocabulary, I've had enough interaction with members of the Jewish community that most of the information was not new to me. I imagine the same can be said for the next Book. Three is probably where I'll learn more.
