I think that Cinder would be considered an antihero. Her step mother volunteered her for testing a cure for a so far incurable disease. All the test drugs that have been tested before have failed, so Cinder is preparing for death right now. The doctors claim that she's helping to save countless lives, but Cinder, a cyborg and reject, argues that society has never done anything good for her.
