‘Owen heard that for what it was. Self-recrimination. Yes, Malcolm, you forgot the condom because you’re not used to being human yet. It’s okay. I forgive you.’

Awwww, Malcolm is a naughty boy.

‘That was such a British thing, allowing people to keep face by politely lingering in the background, pretending nothing embarrassing was going on. Not that Malcolm had any of that.’
It's just... wonderful. :)

Haha. You think I'm naughty? - No, actually was it marked in "italic" in the book.
This is so funny. I haven't read that far yet but I like this. ~ A giggle-fun read.

Irina Oh we need those sometimes! I'm looking forward to your thoughts. I was thinking recently that I don't have nearly enough of the light funny reads that put a smile on my face. If you come across something like that, please send the rec to me, Ingela. As much as I love emotionally heavy books, I need to balance them out :)

Ingie Then could these two pretty short ones be a start. I like them. ~ It doesn't feels like you heard it before hundred of times when reading. Maybe not unique but absolutely stories and characters I will remember. ...and take to my heart.

I just finished a $2 HR audio (7-8 hrs). ~ A funny m/f by Loretta Chase (a HR favorite by now).

I'll check it out then thank you, Ingela! I'm noting your favourite books/authors/narrators :)

Irina Oh she wrote Lord of Scoundrels! It's one of my favourite HR too!

Ingie # You're a sweetie friend. xxxx

# Yeah, that one (LoS) was a great "fiver". This was an older, but amusing enough, one.

Ingie It was Viscount Vagabond. It was for free at Amazon as an kindlebook and I got the audio as well for just $2 a couple of weeks ago and downloaded it.
