I think the most interesting thing about reading Dracula specifically, is to be able observe first hand the book that served as the BASIS for a whole literary subgenre, the gothic.

and with so many adaptations of Dracula or vampire stories, to see how this one evolved throughout history and how it got adapted to different people in time.
