After watching Rings of Power, I felt inspired to finally read The Silmarillion! It's a bit of a slog since there are *so many* different names, so I decided to reread the Lord of the Rings trilogy in tandem with it. So far so good, and it's been enlightening about the First and Second Ages. It has already widened my understanding of RoP and I look forward to seeing where it goes.
