The much loved 'Old Miz Marson' is found dead. It seems her pacemaker battery ran out. Mindy is pregnant, but is it one heartbeat or two that Stacy can hear? Veronica is helping Stacy out in the surgery. she is also still doing a great job looking after Buttercup the bulldog cross.

Slipped right back into this book, instantly remembering what had happened and who every one was. Just as we feel a little relief for our settlers danger looms once again. Another new entity to be feared? I guess I'll find out as I read more of the book.

INITIAL THOUGHTS: I really want Carly & Justin, & their family & community to be safe but I guess that wouldn't perhaps make an interesting read lol. Looking forward to catching up with all the characters and their trials and tribulations.
