Flash back to Andrew and Darraugh as kids on a ship with their father after their mother has passed. Their dad hunting a beat that thrashes the ship and puts them in peril danger. Andrew has to save Darraugh. Back on shore their arrogant asshole father is being celebrated and doesn’t seem to care about his children’s well being. Andrew confronts their father and it starts a fight. He punches. Darraugh shoots

They are released from prison by Liv due to Grennton holding people hostage in Andrews domain. He kills guards and Andrew promises Darraugh will pay regardless it’s his fault. Liv chases them out of town by shooting from atop a building. They decide to lay low and wait for things to cool down. Darraugh has a flash back in lockup of how he became forgeborn and how it was permanent to sign up and go through.

Super awesome multiple storyline of two mage like characters (reminds me of the Witcher) going on a hired venture. They don’t trust and want to kill the man they’re working with. On the other side there’s detectives tracking down the man the other two are working with. They are all taken captive and pacing around, talking through walls. Orion struggling with sobriety. The next morning they are suddenly released
