I’m enjoying the book so far — it’s quite a simple read. Although, it catches me off guard when certain points get glossed over quickly. Like, the main character gets Typhus and nearly dies and this is just summarized into one or two paragraphs… the material in the book is not light stuff, but the way it’s written makes it feel that way
