In my book I think the theme is persistence. I think this because in all the books it was about never giving up on a task even if it seems impossible. For example they thought it would be impossible to defeat set, bring Ra back, and defeat aphopis, but they were able to do all of those things.

In my book Carter's perseverance really effected the book. In the book he said that he does a lot of "impossible" things. If Carter just said that he could not kill Set the world would end.

I think the author is trying to tell us that you should always be persistent and believe in yourself. For example the main characters could easily say that apophis is to strong and they can not beat him, but they try anyways.

In my book I think that they should not have split up because that ended up really bad, so I think that Carter is going to be stopped by apophis.

I feel like the gods shadows have a huge roll in this story, and that with the gods shadows some how they will have to defeat ahpopis.

In my book they just rescued a artifact and they are trying to find out what is important with it. I think somehow this box holds the BA of the ghost that Sadie saw, and that ghost was actually Sente, who knows how to defeat aphois.
