I kept notes on this one, it was so bad. Review to come.

So where's the fun in being a dragon shifter if you can't overpower a group of bitchy teenage girls?

"He looks beautiful standing there, and a familiar ache starts in my chest as I wonder how I can love and fear the sight of someone with the same intensity." Because you're stupid.

"With his cousins at his side. He won't be the Will who sets my draki free. And he can't be. I no longer even want him to be the boy I can't resist. It's cruel and senseless when I can't control myself enough to be around him. This way is best. I need to see him with them, remember that he's my enemy." This back and forth shit every couple of pages is really pissing me off.

"I can't control myself around him. I won't kid myself that I can anymore. I can't risk exposing the pride. Not even to keep my draki alive. And I can't risk seeing the contempt in his eyes if he learns what I am. Not to mention what his family will do if they found out. And there's Cassian ... somewhere out there. He and Will can never meet." Oh, but you know they will, and all that other stuff will happen too.

Um, yeah. Probably not the smartest thing to snoop around the enemies' house.

"I was to sit with him, talk to him, see him, go out with him ... everything. As long as I'm here, anyway. And not just for the sake of my draki. I would have liked Will Rutledge no matter what I was." Oh really? You barely know him, he lives a double life killing your race, and the only reason you're attracted to him is probably because you're a draki and he's something ... else. Not in spite of it.

He didn't save you, he just didn't tell his buddies where you were hiding. There's a difference.

You just saw your enemy in school with you, and instead of warning your Mom and sister, you decide to keep it to yourself. Why? Because, "She would just plant us in some other town. Some other school in another desert. I would be redoing this wretched first day all over again, suffering the heat and climate somewhere else without a beautiful, exciting boy around." That boy is in a group who want to kill you, stupid!
