Whenever I hear Springsteen's "Born to Run", I think of this book and how much Shuya loves that song. How much it means to him. Sadly, for me it plays every day at work around eleven, and I can't enjoy it beyond remembering this book referencing it anymore.

Just caught a mistake-- the narration says Kawada notices Shinji's frown when it's referring to Shuya. Minor mistake, but still.
