I think Bridgett's personality effects her success because when she was telling herself that she shouldn't eat because she doesn't want to gain weight again, but when she says "Eat Bridgett, just 5 bites." (59) she is determined to not gain weight again, which leads to a success. She really tries to make sure she is watching her weight so she came impress her classmates.

I think the theme is friendship because there are a lot of girls that are in this book because of the "List" that is posted up at their school. For example, when Rachel and Dana, two of the most popular and prettiest girls in school ask one of the unpopular girls to come and sit next to the popular table. (75) When all of the girls that are on the list attend a meeting, they discover who their friends really are.

Lauren Finn is a very intelligent
person. The list shouldn't be posted everywhere, because that could really hurt someone's ego. If this is their tradition at their school, then I think that is up to them to decide. I think she has a very good, strong personality and she just brings smiles to the room.

I picked this book because I had it recommended it to me and when I read the back of the book, it looked like it was going to be a good book because it had some good reviews and I was looking for a different type of genre like, drama and I thought I should try it. My past books that I have read haven't been so good lately and I am really hoping that this one will be a good book that I will be able to dig into it.
