In the book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, witthout a doubt, an unsympathetic character is Draco Malfoy. Just about everytime Malfoy's name comes up in the book, he is taunting Harry, doing something evil, or teasing someone. Malfoy tries to get Harry expelled countless times. He isn't a sympathtic character because you can't find one thing he says or does that you can relate to.

The book starts out with Harry back at the Dursley's, being neglected as always. A few days later, Uncle Vernon is having important company over and locks Harry in his room, threatening huge punishment if Harry makes noise. The very night, Dobby, a strange "house elf" gets into Harry's room and warns him not to got back to Hogwarts, making a ton of noise in the meantime. As expected, Harry is punished harshly.

The setting of this book, Hogwarts, is somewhere in England. Whenever there is someting metntioned about the place, all signs point to England. The train station where the Hogwarts Express meets the students, and takes them to Hogwarts, is Kings Cross. Which is in London. And of course, the accents of everyone who speaks is that of a Brit.

For my topic, I'll say what is known about lord Voldemort, or "he who must not be named". In the first book, the story about Harry's parent's death was told. For some reason, Voldemort wanted his entire family dead, so he came into their house, got rid of his parents and went up to finish off Harry. But for some reason, he could not. His attempt left the liconic lightning bold scar on his forhead.

The biok series, "Harry Potter" is both character, and plot driven. This is said because the book follows Harry, and pretty much every thing he does. This book is also plot driven because all 7 books follow the same plot, of he who must not be named, Voldemort, trying to kill Harry, to gain power.

Although Snape is supposed to be some kind of bad, mysterious, creepy, sketchy character in this book, I have some kind of feeling that he will turn out to be a good charachter. I know this sounds ridiculous, but the way he was introduced, and the way J. K Rowling writes about him, makes it seem like he is going to turn out to be a good character in the end.

The Harry potter series has gone from something that I was just going to read for recreation, to a series that I can't put down. There is never a dull moment, and always something happening. I've never seen such a creative author as J,K Rowling is. It must be pretty hard to come up with all the new, odd words that the wizards use in the book. Such as muggle, quaffle, quittich, and a lot others.

My topic today is setting. The setting of Hogwarts in the book "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" is believed to be somewhere in the United Kingdom. This is because of a few reasons. The "muggle" money system are mentioned as pounds at times. Also, the train station that the students use to get to Hogwarts is King's Cross. The book stated that King's Cross was in London.

There have been many twists and turns in the second book of the Harry Potter series, but this was the biggest so far. It was just a routine Quittich practice for Gryffindor, until the Slytherin team showed up to the pitch unannounced, even though Wood had booked the field for Grffindor. Harry's team them found out that Malfoy had gotten on the team because his dad had bought the whole team the newest broom model.

I think Harry Potter is a fiction series. I say this because, obviously, there is no magic in real life, and almost everything that happens in the book is not real. For example, ogres, goblins, unicorns, centaurs, amd a lot more.
