I enjoyed the book, but felt "Learn Me Good" was better. The first was filled with his wonder, amusement, exasperation, amazement and joy at being a new teacher. This sequel was a bit less warm-hearted. I understand that it is a fictionalized account, but some of the humor seemed to be derived at the children's expense.
