I feel the message the author is trying to tell me is don't give up on yourself. I feel the author is trying to get that across to his readers because in the book the main charter is trying so hard to get her crush to notice her. And she feel it's not working. So she feels she should give up. And when that happens someone is always there to make her feel better and feel she shouldn't give up. She should keep trying.

A behavior the main charter sister has is repeating the same things over and over again. So that is why I would change that. This would change/effect the story because then she would be able to speak more, and not just the same thing.
