The Other Side (excerpt) by Alfred Kubin: 6/10. It is a dystopic fantasy set in the strange and oppressive city of Pearl. The narrator is describing a strange sleeping sickness and the beginning of the ruination of the city. It involves animals taking over the city, finding rabbits in your bed, snakes in every aspect of your house, and cats and dogs leaving their owners to hunt their own food.
