I don’t know… this isn’t a reverse harem, more of a traditional fantasy story with light romance. The characters are good, the pre is is good, the writing is good, I’m just not interested… next 3 books also follow the other crows more in-depth and I’m just meh about it…

SPECULATION: The character that died in chapter one, Amos or whatever, the “family” that our FL mourns as a father figure, he’s the mole. He brought the army in, said that the queendom would be easy to take because he killed the older brother (king) and the FL is strong, but unprepared for keeping the city. She was probably promised to the elven warlord so they had a legitimate claim to being there.
