The incessant repetitive of "Oz the Gweat and Tewwible" ceased to be wry and ironic 10 times ago, and became pathological. The repetition of "Hey-ho let's go" was almost as bad.

I was right to skip the introduction until after reading the book. These things should be at the END of the book, not only so that you'll know what he's talking about, but so he doesn't spoil a bunch of scenes and character deaths!

I wish, when King creates an effective formless force or presence, he would stop putting a face on it late in the story.

I really wish King would stop spoiling events in his own books.

This main character does a lot of things that rub me the wrong way.

Some really cool ideas with the supernatural "friend" who doesn't seem to be a ghost, exactly. The foreshadowing in this book is a lot more than just a shadow, though.

King name-drops The Ramones here, as Louis plays one of their songs in the car. I wonder if that's why The Ramones were chosen to write the song "Pet Sematary" for the first movie version.
