Liking it a bit more than a few days ago - a good plot turn made things more interesting.

Kind of meh on this one right now. The character development and relationship development between Claire and Jamie honestly has me loathing both of them at this point. Doesn't bode well for me and my overall assessment of this book, which is a shame, because Gabaldon is a hell of a writer.

The romance elements are a bit much for my tastes, but I am enjoying it overall.

Really liking this so far. Gabaldon's prose is right up my alley.
