This book is hard to get through, not because it's lacking or has bad writing just that's it's a chronicle of a full year spent among the police in Baltimore so what you are reading is more a journal than a novel. Still gonna push through since its a glimpse into the lives of Inner City Detectives and can be quite educating from a True Crime perspective.
