CoD is a long slog of a book that sparsely contains the intrigue of the first two. If we must spend so much time with the Corrino’s and their plots why can’t it be more interesting? I guess the value in the Corrino chapters is I have time to miss the chapters with Alia, Jessica, Leto and Ghanima. The only excitement is in teasing future character encounters The Preacher, Alia, Jessica, Leto etc.
