This is all sweet, but I'm tired of the resurrection card being played in every one of these books.

"Words beckoned, sharp as knives, begging for her to grab one and plunge it into his chest. Make him hurt as much as that one word hurt her. Make him bleed."

As insufferable as I find these characters, I think I can relate to Nesta in some ways. The way she reacts when she's hurt... The first instinct is to throw the hurt back at whoever hurt you.

Oh Cassian, you are "just a brute", it seems. You don't know how to act during court matters, don't know how to separate yourself from your feelings. You messed up their dance because you were jealous . That was a decision she agreed to, that was for an alliance, you fool. 🙄

I have come to the conclusion that I like neither Nesta nor Cassian.
